Artistic background:
I paint, draw, make prints, and design textiles for my living. I work in both abstract and representational styles, in a range of media. I think of myself primarily as a colorist, though I also love the line. My formal art education is from School of the Visual Arts, The Art Students' League, and Fashion Institute of Technology, all in New York City. I have exhibited in New York and other US states.
So how did you end up in Denmark?
My (Swedish) husband found work in Denmark, and we both love Copenhagen. We moved here in July 2009.
Joining the art group:
I want to network with other artists working and living in Copenhagen to make new, like-minded friends and become part of the art community in my new city.
