Artistic background:

I have lived a childhood filled with arts and crafts as my mother was very passionate about art in various ways. What started as a hobby; then quickly became a passion. I also took courses at the Art Academy Center (Egypt) in drawing and painting and learned a lot about pencil shading, wax sketching, water colouring and oil painting.

So how did you end up in Denmark?

I got married to a Dane and moved to Denmark in May 2008. I immediately found the landscape and nature to be very inspiring. I specifically admired the changing of the seasons.

Joining the art group:

I found the idea of being part of an art networking group very interesting. It's an excellent means of connecting different talents to work together on creating artwork. It will also help me in having the opportunity to expose my work, interact with other artists, learn new things and get inspired. The group is already on its way to becoming an association and that only means more opportunities for new experiences.

In addition to my artistic interest, I also have a lot of experience in administration and co-ordination and I would like to use this experience in the group.

Artistic motto:

Art is the way to enriching the senses and enriching life. It is also a calming exercise for me as I find peace and tranquility in painting.
