I started taking pictures when I had once as a kid thought long about memories, perspective and how awesome it would be if I could share what I see with others. I had a dream about having a camera inside my eye, controlled by my mind, to capture any particular moment that I did not want to forget.
I have not yet pursued this path educationally, but I have been taking pictures for about 7 years now. I'm very excited to now be able to share my photography not only with friends, family and online communities, but also at exhibitions with NyDanskerKunst. I work with digital photography; portraits, landscapes, night pictures, ambiences.

So how did you end up in Denmark?

I was born and raised in Denmark.

Joining the art group:

I joined this art group because I realised I would gain a source of inspiration, and hoped to also get involved with collaborative projects with other artists. Being in this group has already opened up my artistic side in a manner different from the occasional 'inspired moments' I have had in the past, and I have a feeling it's going to change my attitude about what I can achieve as an artist in the future. As the only native Danish person in the group so far, I realise I still have better insight into the bureaucratic aspects of becoming an association. I would very much like to help in making this group a more official platform for artistic new Danes.
